Plans are for Wudang district to continue to expand and streamline its tourism sector and explore a new all-for-one tourism development pattern in the new year.
Wudang received 117,200 tourists during the seven-day Spring Festival holiday.
A delegation led by Ai Jiang, head of Wudang district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, paid a visit to retired government officials in the district on Jan 17.
Wudang district achieved the goals it set out for 2021 in terms of improving the quality of life and standard of living of its residents.
Wudang aims to add 5,500 new business entities, ranging from sole traders to full companies, in 2022.
Wudang distributed a total of 2.64 million yuan ($396,099) in subsidies to people with disabilities in 2021.
