The Guizhou School of Fine Arts Research Institute was unveiled in Wudang district in Guiyang on July 26, and an exhibition of masterpieces from the Guizhou School of Fine Arts was concurrently launched at the Skysea Museum of Art.
During the ceremony, Wang Mingming, secretary of the Party Committee of Wudang district, expressed his congratulations on the exhibition and the establishment of the research institute. He then thanked the leaders, experts, and scholars who have long cared about and supported the cultural development of Wudang district.
The event was an important cultural activity following the launch of the Chinese Academy Culture Exploration Tour, the Guyuntang Bookstore, and the "Yangming Philosophy" academic forum.
The exhibition aims to promote Guizhou's historical and cultural heritage, showcase the artistic achievements of cultural masters, and strengthen the excavation, refinement, and promotion of local culture in Wudang.
The exhibition features works by famous painters, calligraphers, sculptors, and artists such as Chen Zheng, Fang Cong, Shen Fuxin, Liu Huipu, and Li Gang. The exhibition will continue until Aug 26.
