During the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays from Sept 29 to Oct 6, Wudang district in Guiyang received 541,500 visits, a year-on-year surge of 202.59 percent, bringing in a tourism income of 272 million yuan ($37.24 million), a year-on-year increase of 221.21 percent.
The Guizhou Science and Technology Award Conference was recently held in Guiyang. The conference awarded 120 projects, including seven projects that received contributions from six units in Wudang district.
As the National Day approaches, the streets and alleys of Wudang district are adorned with vibrant red national flags and red lanterns.
With the arrival of autumn, a golden "harvest symphony" is unfolding in the northern towns of Wudang district.
