Guiyang and Gui'an offer free short-term accommodation for young job seekers

Young people traveling to Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area for job hunting, internships, or entrepreneurship can now benefit from a free short-term accommodation program.

Recent graduate Zhou Mei, who came to Guiyang from Zhejiang province in search of employment, extended her free stay at the program's Xinzhuang Chengyu Apartment by another seven days through an online application. Together with her initial seven-day stay, she will enjoy a total of 14 days' free accommodation.

"When I first arrived in Guiyang, I wasn't familiar with the city and hadn't arranged a place to stay," Zhou said. "After learning about the program, I applied immediately. The accommodation is comfortable. It is near a metro station and bus stops, and a pedestrian shopping street is just downstairs. It's very convenient for getting around and finding restaurants to eat in."

Located next to Guizhou Normal College Station on Metro Line 3, the apartment is well connected by several bus routes, including Routes 52 and 106. Shopping centers, restaurants, hospitals, and courier services are all within easy reach. The surrounding area is home to numerous companies in the healthcare, food processing, and logistics sectors, offering convenient access to employment opportunities, company visits, and internships.

Each room is fully furnished with a private bathroom, water heater, washing machine, wardrobe, refrigerator, sofa, and complete bedding.

Eligible applicants can enjoy an initial seven-day stay free of charge, with the possibility of extending their stay for up to 30 days.

Applications can be submitted online through the Duocaibao app or the WeChat accounts of Youth Guiyang and Zhuchao Life.
