Wudang district has been addressing pressing public concerns and development bottlenecks through targeted initiatives aimed at improving grassroots governance and enhancing public services.

In Dabao village of Dongfeng town, the Party branch tackled long-standing drainage issues in the Qingganglin area, where the lack of adequate sewage and water diversion channels frequently led to waterlogging and sewage overflow during rainy weather. Funding was allocated to build new drainage and sewage diversion facilities, resolving flooding and sewage accumulation problems while significantly improving the local living environment.

The Wudang bureau of human resources and social security has also taken steps to address issues related to workplace injury insurance enrollment and compensation reviews. More than 70 enterprises have received policy training on topics such as timely insurance enrollment and standardized accident reporting procedures.

To help meet business recruitment needs, the bureau organized multiple job fairs, providing a total of 7,012 employment opportunities. In addition, recruitment teams visited 12 key universities across China to attract talent and assisted qualified professionals in securing more than 1.12 million yuan ($156,441) in government incentives and subsidies.

Meanwhile, Pianpo Bouyei township has pursued a balanced approach to intangible cultural heritage, preserving intangible cultural heritage while promoting rural development. Along Puyuexiang Street, fifteen abandoned livestock sheds have been revitalized and converted into specialty workshops and courtyard-based businesses centered on traditional industries such as liquor brewing, embroidery, and textile dyeing.

The township has also continued to improve rural living conditions through environmental enhancement projects, helping local communities evolve from clean and orderly to more attractive and livable environments. As a result, the township has been recognized as a provincial-level summer tourism resort destination.
