On May 26, the Wudang district human resources and social security bureau, in partnership with Guizhou Industrial and Commercial Vocational and Technical School, launched a seven-day training program for livestream e-commerce and beauty services.

The livestreaming course mainly targets college graduates, young people who did not continue their studies after junior or senior high school, rural migrant workers, registered unemployed urban residents, and other groups struggling to find employment. A total of 27 trainees have enrolled in the current session.

Zhang Yan, an experienced livestreaming instructor from Guiyang Guanshanhu Zhenhua Vocational School, was invited to support the program. Her lessons are tailored to address common mistakes made by beginner online sellers during livestream sessions. Trainees first practice on simulated platforms before moving on to real livestreaming rooms.

In the beauty training course, 21 trainees take turns acting as customers and beauticians while practicing hands-on beauty techniques under the guidance of instructors. One trainee, who attended the course with her daughter, said, "I've been a full-time mother for two years. Now I want to learn some practical skills and see whether I can start my own business in the future."

Additionally, the bureau has already launched a range of vocational training programs teaching skills such as elderly care, housekeeping, infant care, and electrical work.
