Guiyang's Zhenhua Xintian Industrial Park nears full operation

Construction workers at a factory in the Zhenhua Xintian Electronic Components Industrial Park in Wudang district have been busy preparing for equipment installation, including secondary structural modifications and interior decoration.

The industrial park is a key provincial project jointly developed by the Wudang district people's government and China Zhenhua (Group) Technology Co.

Constructed by Guiyang Wudang Industrial Investment Co, the project broke ground in August 2022 with a total investment of approximately 3 billion yuan ($438.67 million). It features 206,700 square meters of newly built factories and supporting facilities, including 14 standard workshops, as well as utility pipelines, roads, and environmental infrastructure. The park has now been completed and is being handed over to the Zhenhua Group in phases.

Luo Shang, deputy director of the Wudang District Industrial Park Construction Service Center, said that the district has prioritized enterprise services and addressed key challenges during construction, including power line relocation, the relocation of Zhenhua's old facilities, and underground pipeline works.

The park will primarily serve as a hub for the research and production of semiconductor separate devices, general electronic components, electromechanical assemblies, and specialized components for the Zhenhua Group.

More than 10 projects from its subsidiaries – including Yongguang, Xinyun, Yunke, and Qunying – are expected to be introduced. The industrial park will be interconnected with the group's existing facilities, generating an estimated annual output value of 2.45 billion yuan and creating over 800 jobs.

Wudang district plans to use the industrial park as a core platform to attract upstream and downstream enterprises in integrated circuit design and new materials, further strengthening the local semiconductor industry chain.
