Some State-owned enterprises, including Guizhou Guilv New Materials Co and Guizhou Tyre Co, participated in the event. Available positions covered a wide range of roles such as process engineer, equipment management, electromechanical maintenance, and frontline operator.
"We highly value the formation of a veteran talent pool," said Feng Li, deputy director of the Party and mass affairs department at the Guiyang branch of Beijing Enterprises Water Group. "Veterans possess a strong sense of discipline and responsibility, and are able to carry out tasks effectively – all qualities essential for enterprise development."
Wang Fali, a university graduate and retired soldier who just completed a job match at the fair, shared that he is particularly interested in sales positions. "The salary packages and career development opportunities offered by these enterprises are very appealing. I hope to find a job I truly enjoy," he said. A graduate in IoT applications, Wang served in Xizang autonomous region for three years before returning to Guiyang to seek employment and has submitted resumes to two or three preferred companies.
A dedicated employment service area was also set up at the venue, where career planners provided professional guidance tailored to veterans, offering advice on resume improvement, skills enhancement, and career planning.
