Food eco-park put into use in July 2026

At the construction site of the Huicheng Specialty Food Eco-Park in Wudang district, work is in full swing, with completion slated for July 2026, reporters recently observed during an on-site visit.

The park is a key investment attraction project in Wudang district, centered on Guizhou's specialty food industry. The modern ecological industrial park integrates a cultural experience center, a health baking research institute, a baking academy, a themed park, and various leisure facilities.

With a total investment of 798 million yuan ($112.11 million), project representatives have signed an industry-academia-research cooperation agreement with the Postdoctoral Research Station of Jiangnan University's School of Food Science. The project will also include the construction of a high-standard, multi-level cold storage facility with a height of 24 meters, enabling efficient storage and automated management.
