The social security transfer section of the Wudang district government service hall received a red silk banner with golden characters from Wang Zaijun, a villager from Zhonghe village in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, in appreciation of their efficient and thoughtful services, on Oct 13.

In mid-September, Wang visited the service hall to apply for retirement benefits. As his pension insurance record was registered in Linhai city, East China's Zhejiang province, he first needed to complete the cross-provincial transfer of his social security account before proceeding with the retirement application.

During the process, staff members of the service center verified his personal information and discovered a homophonic character error in his registered name. Normally, correcting such information through regular procedures would be time-consuming and could delay the approval of retirement benefits.

Considering the inconvenience of cross-provincial travel, the staff members promptly contacted the Linhai city social security office, provided detailed explanations, and sent supporting documents. After verification, the Linhai office expedited the correction process, allowing Wang to complete his retirement procedures smoothly.

In recent years, the Wudang district government service center has continued to improve administrative efficiency and service quality. By focusing on cross-regional, cross-departmental, and cross-level service needs for enterprises and citizens, it has promoted "one-stop" handling of interregional affairs, enhancing public satisfaction.
