Wudang's ancient village attracts tourists

Scattered around Guiyang are numerous ancient villages rich in history and ethnic culture. One example is Pianpo village in Pianpo Bouyei township, Wudang district, located less than 30 kilometers from downtown Guiyang.

With their unique cultural heritage, natural scenery, and innovative tourism offerings, these villages have become popular destinations for visitors from both within and outside the province seeking nostalgia and authentic folk experiences.

Stepping into Pianpo village feels like walking into a beautiful landscape painting, with Bouyei-style houses nestled among lush mountains and streams.

Here, visitors can take part in hands-on cultural experiences such as traditional Bouyei embroidery, wax printing, and rice wine brewing.
