The services cover a wide range of needs, including health education on common illnesses, heatstroke, food poisoning, and drowning prevention, as well as on-site cardiopulmonary resuscitation training.
For hypertensive patients, tailored medication plans were developed; visitors suffering from upper respiratory infections received integrated treatment combining traditional Chinese and Western medicine. Additional traditional Chinese medical services, such as moxibustion, pulse diagnosis, and herbal cooling patches, were also offered.
To date, the medical service teams have attended to more than 2,500 tourists and over 4,000 local residents. Among them was Ms Wang from Sichuan province and traveling in Wudang, who expressed gratitude after doctors treated her infected wound and designed a hypertension medication plan for her husband. "I never expected to receive such professional and considerate medical care while traveling," she said.
Moving forward, the district will continue to deepen its "medical + tourism + wellness" service model, ensuring the health and wellbeing of both visitors and residents.
