In the orchards of Pianpo Bouyei township, Wudang district, branches are heavy with golden peaches, their fragrance carried across the hills by the summer breeze. As a core production area under the "Wuling Wudang" regional agriculture brand, the township has made its golden peaches a symbol of ecological agriculture and rural prosperity.

At an average altitude of 1,084 meters, the township enjoys clean air, abundant rainfall, and fertile soil free from industrial pollution within a 30-kilometer radius. These natural conditions, combined with large day–night temperature differences, provide the perfect environment for peach cultivation. The result is fruit with exceptional sweetness, grown under strict "zero pollution" and "zero chemical additives" standards.

Adhering to sound ecological practices, farmers use manual weeding and biological pest control, rejecting chemical pesticides and ripening agents. Harvesting is done by hand, with only well-shaped, fully ripe peaches selected. Each peach weighs on average 200 grams, with some reaching 500 grams, offering juicy flesh rich in vitamins, fiber, and antioxidants.
The peach industry has become a pillar of local development. Through the operation model of "company + cooperative + farmers", the township ensures standardized planting, unified management, and stable sales channels, boosting farmers' incomes and creating jobs. By integrating agriculture with rural tourism, Pianpo has turned its orchards into destinations for picking experiences and eco-tourism, allowing visitors to enjoy both sweet harvests and cultural charm.
Now, "Wuling Wudang" golden peaches are becoming more than just a local favorite thanks to e-commerce.
