With an average summer temperature of 23 C and a forest coverage rate reaching 59.73 percent, Wudang district has become an increasingly popular destination for summer retreats, rural getaways, and cultural tourism. In recent years, the district has cultivated a vibrant tourism ecosystem centered on its natural advantages and ethnic heritage.

To support the surge in summer tourism, Wudang has strengthened efforts to improve the cleanliness and safety of areas surrounding key transportation hubs. Local authorities have stepped up patrols and sanitation management, while also enforcing regulations to ensure that homestays, scenic spots, and tourism businesses operate in a standardized and orderly manner.

In addition, the district has required all tourist-facing businesses to display complaint hotlines prominently and respond promptly to consumer concerns. Disputes are resolved through coordinated mediation to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of tourists.

Next, Wudang district plans to launch a full-chain supervision campaign across the tourism sector, focusing on food, lodging, transport, sightseeing, entertainment, and shopping. Authorities will conduct inspections of scenic areas, homestays, restaurants, and stations, focusing on service quality and compliance. Concurrently, targeted training programs will be rolled out to enhance service standards and strengthen safety awareness among tourism operators.
