During China's National Urban Household Waste Sorting Publicity Week from May 22 to 28, the Wudang district government service center launched a series of engaging activities to raise awareness and encourage public participation in waste classification.

As part of the campaign, the center organized a clean-up initiative at the Zhihui Yunjin Innovation Park. Staff members carried out waste collection in public areas such as roads and green belts, while also inspecting and tidying up garbage bins to ensure proper labeling and disposal. These actions helped improve the overall cleanliness and environmental quality of the park.

The government service hall, an important public-facing venue, served as a key platform for outreach. To create a strong promotional atmosphere, the center used LED screens to display educational videos, public service announcements, and slogans related to waste sorting. Staff members also distributed more than 120 informational brochures to visitors and actively explained sorting tips using real-life examples, making the process more accessible and practical for the public.

To enhance the expertise of staff members, the center organized a group study session focused on the Waste Sorting Mini Encyclopedia. Employees read the material and discussed how to integrate sorting practices into daily operations and better guide the public in proper disposal methods.

Moving forward, the center will continue to promote waste sorting through on-site education and practical application to contribute to a cleaner, greener, and more livable Wudang.
