Xinzhi Bookstore in Wudang enriches campus life

The reading atmosphere was intense at Xinzhi Bookstore in Wudang district, Guiyang, on April 21. Featuring dedicated reading, event, and beverage zones, the bookstore regularly hosts reading activities or offers its space for free to local schools and students, actively promoting the culture of reading.

Xinzhi Bookstore opened its doors on Oct 18, 2021, on the campus of Guizhou Education University.

"Our store covers over 750 square meters and houses more than 10,000 books across a wide range of categories, including literature, psychology, history, social sciences, and business management," said Yang Jing, a representative of Xinzhi Bookstore. "It can accommodate over 100 readers for events. Our goal is to advance the local culture and foster a strong reading atmosphere on campus."

"The atmosphere here is great," said Li Sen, a third-year history major at Guizhou Education University. "I often come here to read, study, and write book notes in my spare time."

Yang added that the bookstore will continue to enhance its offerings by organizing a variety of engaging reading activities, further contributing to the development of a book-loving campus.
