Wudang district in Guiyang has completed renovation work on all six of its aging residential communities, one of the district's key livelihood programs for 2025. The renovation projects have upgraded nearly 110,000 square meters of residential space, improving living conditions for 1,289 households.
Jintian Jiayuan Community now looks vibrant and refreshed, with newly paved asphalt roads, neatly arranged vehicles under brand-new charging shelters, upgraded landscaping, clean stairwells, new fitness equipment, and modern lighting all giving the neighborhood a major facelift.
"The environment is so much better now, with new facilities added. It's a big improvement, and I'm really happy living here," said resident Jin Fangzhu.
The renovation of Jintian Jiayuan involved an investment of over 2.3 million yuan ($314,870), covering improvements such as wall repainting, road resurfacing, waste sorting stations, flowerbeds, and fitness installations, benefiting 330 households across seven buildings.
Another upgraded site, Phase II of the Xinguang Area renovation project, covers 11 buildings and 320 households, with a total area of 27,300 sq m.
"We had strong support from residents from the beginning, and now that the work is done, the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive," said project manager Li Fuyao.
