The 2025 Talent Recruitment Event, organized by the Wudang district of Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, and a special job fair at Sichuan University, concluded on April 10 in Chengdu, capital of Southwest China's Sichuan province.

Held at Sichuan University's Wangjiang Campus, the event focused on the district's major and characteristic industries and brought together top enterprises from Wudang. A total of 40 employers, including China Zhenhua Electronics Group Co and Guiqian International General Hospital Management Co, offered 287 job openings.

Over 500 students attended the fair in just half a day, while the livestream attracted more than 10,000 views. A total of 342 resumes were submitted online and offline, resulting in 207 preliminary employment intentions and one on-site signing. Among the candidates were two PhD holders and 21 postgraduates.

"I've studied in Sichuan for four years and didn't expect my hometown's industries to be so cutting-edge!" said a student from Guizhou who reached a preliminary agreement with one of the recruiters.

Wudang will continue to sign candidates, refine its recruitment strategies, and diversify talent attraction methods. It will also improve the precision of job matching, simplify processes, and strengthen mechanisms for attracting, cultivating, utilizing, and retaining talent.
