Construction on the Huicheng Specialty Food Ecological Park project in Wudang district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, is in full swing. The park, developed by Guiyang Gaoxin Huicheng Food Co, involves a total planned investment of 800 million yuan ($110.16 million) and covers an area of 140 mu (9.33 hectares) in two phases.
It aims to integrate multiple industries, including production, education, research, culture, sports, and tourism, creating a modern ecological industrial park. It will feature a sightseeing factory, food culture experience center, baking academy, theme park, and leisure facilities.
The project's first phase has a total investment of 365 million yuan and an area of approximately 76 mu. Earthwork and slope protection have already been completed, and preliminary work is progressing smoothly. It is expected to be completed by March 2026 and operational by May. It is expected to become a new benchmark for the food industry in Guizhou and across China.
Guiyang Gaoxin Huicheng Food Co is a large-scale modern baking enterprise deeply rooted in Wudang for many years. Its well-known chain brand, "Viewsunzizi", enjoys widespread recognition, with an annual sales revenue of 300 million yuan and over 200 directly operated stores.
