Wudang's talent development achievements in 2024

In 2024, Wudang district in Guiyang continued implementing the "Talent-Driven Development" strategy, deepening reforms in talent development mechanisms and attracting professionals to expand its talent pool.

Wudang actively worked to retain and recruit university graduates, providing job opportunities, policy support, and services. This effort attracted 1,330 university graduates outside the province to work in Wudang. Additionally, 193 high-level and urgently needed professionals and 2,091 new talents in the manufacturing and big data industries were introduced.

Wudang fostered talent development through corporate innovation platforms, adding 11 new provincial-level innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).  Meanwhile, 514 rural practical talents were trained, and 328 individuals were certified as senior or intermediate agricultural technicians. The district also cultivated 42 provincial and municipal rural artisan masters.

To retain talent, Wudang continued to strengthen the implementation of its talent policy framework, enforcing the expert service system while providing comprehensive support in housing, employment, and education. To date, 2,129 units of talent housing have been allocated, and policy funding totaling 3.47 million yuan ($47,747) has been distributed.
