Wudang district prioritized people's well-being in 2024, addressing key public concerns through a series of initiatives that transformed livelihood priorities into tangible benefits and enhanced residents' quality of life.
The district added 855 new public parking spaces, provided 588 public welfare jobs, and established an emergency station at Yangchang Health Center, benefiting around 50,000 residents across four neighboring towns. Emergency drought-relief water projects were also completed in five villages, ensuring drinking water for nearly 10,000 people.
Education development steadily progressed with the construction of the No 10 Kindergarten and the Xintian Nine-year School Dongfeng Branch (junior high section), adding 1,470 new education slots. One new "Qianling Master Teacher" and 49 provincial and municipal-level key teachers were also recognized. The undergraduate admission rate reached a record high of 78.86 percent.

The district constructed a health information platform and five health emergency stations. In terms of employment, 6,477 urban jobs were created, and 588 people were placed in public welfare positions.
The Lewan International Rehabilitation Center was also completed, and 16 residential areas were equipped with elderly care service facilities. The number of infant and toddler care spaces per 1,000 people reached 4.06.
