Wudang residents celebrate Lantern Festival

To celebrate Lantern Festival, the Wudang District Cultural Center hosted a festive event where visitors enjoyed lantern riddles infused with elements of intangible cultural heritage, general knowledge, and poetry.

The second floor of the cultural center was adorned with vibrant red lanterns, creating a festive atmosphere. Colorful riddle cards swayed in the air, immersing visitors in the festival's rich traditions.

Excitement filled the venue as participants of all ages moved among the riddles, pausing to ponder or discussing answers with friends. Some brainstormed together, while others used "DeepSeek" on their phones to find solutions.

Those who guessed correctly were rewarded with gifts, adding to the fun. The venue was filled with cheerful laughter. "Haha! This riddle challenge refreshed my knowledge and earned me a meaningful souvenir," said a delighted student.

In addition to the lantern riddle event, the cultural center hosted a Spring Festival calligraphy and couplet exhibition featuring works by primary and secondary school students, which attracted many parents and children.
