Wudang district resumes operations to secure strong start

As the festive atmosphere lingers, businesses across Guiyang's Wudang district ramp up production, fulfill orders, and expand markets to stabilize growth and ensure a strong start to the year.

As of Feb 6, over 60 of the district's industrial enterprises above the designated size resumed operations, with a resumption rate exceeding 90 percent.

Guizhou Chienyeh Pharmaceutical Packaging Co, a Wudang-based company, has its pharmaceutical packaging production lines running at full capacity, and over 290 employees are back at work. This year, the company aims to enhance product quality and production efficiency while increasing investment in R&D and introducing more innovative products to meet market demands.

"Before resuming work, we made thorough preparations, including comprehensive inspections and adjustments of production equipment, as well as proper planning for raw material supply to ensure uninterrupted production," said Yang Hongmei, the company's assistant general manager. 

At Guizhou Shuangjing Food Co in the district's Shuitian village, workers on the packaging line are busy, while sales staff in the office continuously check shipping orders. Production never stopped during the Spring Festival holiday.

"We have been operating during the entire holiday, with most workers on duty. Our products are shipped across the country, and we expect orders to grow further this year," said Zhou Liqiong, the company's production manager.
