Wudang teems with Spring Festival activities

In recent days, various areas in Wudang district have hosted a variety of festive activities to celebrate the upcoming Spring Festival. From making dumplings and writing Spring Festival couplets to cleaning up neighborhoods, residents have come together in joy to welcome Chinese New Year.

On Jan 21, Xinchuanglu sub-district, in collaboration with the Jintian Jiayuan Property Owners' Committee, organized a lively Spring Festival event that attracted many residents.

During the event, professional calligraphers and hobbyists alike were invited to write Spring Festival couplets, while residents gathered around tables, skillfully washing, chopping, seasoning, and wrapping dumplings.

Medical staff from the local community hospital provided free blood pressure and blood sugar checks, along with comprehensive health consultations and diagnoses for residents.

On Jan 22, the Gaoxinlu sub-district hosted a "Welcoming Spring Festival · Delivering Blessings and Spring Festival Couplets" public welfare event in Daqiao community.

Calligraphers of all ages from Wudang district, along with calligraphy volunteers, showcased their skills by writing Spring Festival couplets on-site, offering blessings and good wishes to local residents.

A similar Spring Festival couplet writing event was also held in Jinjiangyuan community. Community staff also invited residents to write their wishes and blessings for 2025 on a wishing banner, spreading joy and hope for the new year.
