As Spring Festival approaches, many people returning to their hometowns are preparing to celebrate the holiday while planning their work for the coming year. Yuxin community in Wudang district recently learned that many returning residents hoped to find jobs locally. In response, a job fair was held on Jan 16, leading to strong results.

The fair aimed to provide a platform for face-to-face communication between returning workers and local businesses, helping residents secure employment close to home while addressing workforce challenges for companies.

The participating companies represented various sectors, including manufacturing, services, and high-tech industries, offering positions such as operator, service staff member, technician, live-streaming personnel, and management roles.

Job seekers gathered at the booths of various companies to inquire about job details, salary packages, and working conditions, creating a bustling and lively atmosphere.

"We conducted a thorough survey of local enterprises to understand their employment needs. Today, 20 companies are offering over 800 jobs in 50 categories," said Shao Jing, a staff member at the Wudang human resources service center.

The job fair attracted over 300 job seekers, with 79 reaching preliminary employment agreements on the spot.

Community volunteers were also present at the event to address job seekers' questions, share information about employment and assistance policies, and provide knowledge on topics such as fraud prevention, drug control, and waste classification. Small gifts were distributed to candidates who reached preliminary employment agreements.
