A total of four enterprises from Wudang district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, made the first batch of Guizhou's technologically-advanced enterprises in 2024, according to the Guizhou Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology.
The companies include Guizhou Shuangjing Food Co, Guiyang Zhenxing Aluminum and Magnesium Technology Industry Development Co, Guizhou Wanye Packaging Co and Guizhou Bolin Pharmaceutical Co.
This indicates that these enterprises are highly competitive in their respective specialized market segments by achieving specialized, refined, and distinctive development, and demonstrating strong innovation capabilities and high quality and efficiency. They are the backbone of high-quality small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
In addition, the four companies, along with another two enterprises – Guizhou Qineng Thermal Insulation Material Engineering Co and Guiyang Xinqi Microwave Industry Co – have recently been recognized as provincial innovative SMEs for 2024.
So far, Wudang has had a total of 62 enterprises recognized as national-level "Little Giants", provincial-level "Little Giants", "Little Giants" cultivation enterprises, Guizhou innovative SMEs, and technologically-advanced SMEs at the provincial and municipal levels.
Since 2023, the Wudang bureau of industry and information technology has been applying policy funds to support the growth and expansion of resident enterprises. To date, the bureau has dished out 31.95 million yuan ($4.40 million) in funding and loans to enterprises.
