10 practical things guarantee residents' happiness in Wudang

As of Nov 30, Wudang district's "Ten Practical Things" initiative, focusing on improving quality of life in the district, has achieved a milestone, with 14 of the total 15 projects having been completed and the last one near completion.

From January to November, the district saw an increase of 6,043 new urban jobs.

Renovations have been completed on seven rural schools, and the expansion of Wudang Ninth Kindergarten is expected to be finished by mid-December.

Construction on the Xinguang Road Sub-district Community Health Service Center and Longguang Road Community Health Service Center has been completed. This allows local residents to enjoy high-quality medical services at their doorstep, greatly improving their level of convenience and well-being, while also saving on medical expenses.

In addition, the enthusiasm of professional large-scale farmers, family farms, and farmer cooperatives has mobilized to complete 5,000 mu (333.33 hectares) of high-standard farmland. This has transformed fragmented land into a contiguous and consolidated area, achieving stable and increased yields on existing cultivated land.

Lastly, efforts have been made by Wudang to optimize eight rural roads spanning 15.15 kilometers, build nine new parking lots consisting of 1,251 new parking spots, and renovate and upgrade old residential areas and the district's culture center.
