In Wudang district of Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, there is a food company that sells 2,000 metric tons of baked goods each year, with an annual sales revenue of 250 million yuan ($34.15 million). It has nearly 200 direct retail stores, and its marketing network covers all prefectures, cities, and some key business districts in the province, as well as parts of Chongqing. This is the nationally-renowned bakery chain brand "Viewsunzizi," which has been based in Guiyang since the 1990s.

So far, Guiyang High-Tech Hui Cheng Food Co boasts over 60,000 square meters of standardized factories, six modern production lines, and an efficient logistics distribution system. It is a large, modern baking food company that integrates research and development, production, and sales, and has become the largest baking company in Guizhou.

Xu Xiaoyan, the company's deputy general manager, said that continuous innovation is essential for the company's development. The company's research and development team often travels to other countries to learn advanced baking techniques. Additionally, the flagship store introduces several new products every week. For new products that receive positive customer feedback, the R&D team investigates their standardization for production, with the ultimate goal of achieving mass production.

What's more, the company also invested in the construction of the Wudang Hui Cheng Specialty Food Industrial Park, collaborated with the Food College of Jiangnan University to establish the Guizhou Healthy Baking Research Institute, and established a Southwest (Guizhou) Postdoctoral Workstation. By introducing research talent through the university, the company has sought to achieve mass production of its research achievements.

The company has cooperated with China Telecom and jointly built a 5G smart factory that adopts robots and technologies such as AI and Internet Plus, greatly reducing the cost of labor, cutting down raw material waste and costs, and improving efficiency.

In addition, the company opened its production workshop to the public two years ago. With the workshop receiving more and more visitors, the company plans to build a baking them park including a food culture experience center, healthy baking research institute, and baking academy by providing customers with integrated services such as eating, drinking, playing and experiencing.
