Wudang seeks partnerships in health, medicine sectors in Beijing

A delegation from Wudang district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, visited the ZGC Medical Device Park in Beijing and attended a symposium on health and pharmaceutical industry cooperation on March 20. 

The symposium was hosted by the liaison office of the Guiyang municipal people's government in Beijing and the ZGC Medical Device Park Co. 

At the symposium, Wang Mingming, Party secretary of Wudang district, introduced in detail the district's industrial foundation, resources, business environment, supporting facilities, and investment space. 

He said that Wudang has strong foundation in the health and medicine industries, especially in fields such as traditional Chinese medicine, chemical drugs, and medical devices. He went further to state that Wudang has a good business environment and that it will welcome more enterprises to invest in it.  

Representatives from more than 30 health and pharmaceutical enterprises in Beijing attended the symposium. 

Guiyang Xintian Pharmaceutical Co and Guizhou Warmen Pharmaceutical Co, both of which are based in the district and acted as representatives of Guiyang's health and pharmaceutical industries, discussed the development status and future trends of the health and pharmaceutical industries with present Beijing enterprises.
