Wudang sets development goals for economic, technology zone

The economic and technology development zone in Wudang district in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, set up ambitious development goals for 2023.

According to the plan, the zone will strive to achieve a total output value of 18.5 billion yuan ($2.64 billion) for industries above designated size.

Among this total, the output value of the health and medicine industry will be more than 5.9 billion yuan, and the output value of the electronic information manufacturing industry is estimated to exceed 9 billion yuan.

The overarching plans are for the zone to improve its infrastructure and standard factory construction.

According to the plan, it will speed up the construction of projects such as Zhihui Road, Gaoxin North 2 Road, Yunjin Road and the Yunjin flood drainage ditch. It will start the construction of the Huoshipo industrial park sewage treatment plant expansion project, Huoshipo No 2 Road, the Luowan flood drainage ditch, and other projects.
