Wudang accelerates standard factory construction

Wudang district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, is accelerating the construction of standard factories to boost new-type industrialization.

At the beginning of this year, Wudang set a goal to build new standard factories covering a total of 500,000 square meters by the end of the year.

Wudang has adopted customized, standardized and market-oriented methods to promote the construction of standard factory buildings around industrial positioning and investment project entry needs through self-construction, private capital participation, and old factory renovation and upgrading.

The move has effectively alleviated the shortage of land in industrial parks.

Among the standard factories to be built is the Yunjin Industrial City Integration Project of Guizhou Traditional Chinese Medicine and Medical Device Industrial Park.

It has a planned land area of 512 mu and is designed to have a floorage area of 417,000 square meters.

According to the deal signed between the Wudang district government and China National Equipment (Guizhou) Co, the industrial park will create a cluster area dominated by the big health and pharmaceutical industries.

The industrial park is scheduled to complete construction in March 2023.
