Xiaba town: a must visit for rural entertainment

Xiaba town in Wudang district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, is a must visit for people who enjoy picking fruit and exploring the countryside.

Information from the town shows that cherries covering a total area of 30,000 mu (2,000 hectares) are expected to enter picking season in late April.

Next, strawberries will be made available in late spring and early summer.

For those who wish to enjoy the countryside scenery, riding a motorcycle on Xiangla and Liangla roads, which pass through Xiaba town, is a great choice, as the roads stretch along with numerous water bodies and mountains.

Additionally, tasting local dishes is recommended at nongjiale, or farm homestays.
