To make things much more convenient for students traveling between home and school, the Wudang district of Guiyang city – capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – recently launched six student buses.

The new buses target boarding students studying at the Wudang No 4 Middle School and will serve them every weekend.

Wudang No 4 Middle School is located in Shuitian town in Wudang. It has 511 students in the existing boarding system who need to take public transport to return home every weekend.

Previously, due to a lack of public parking lots and serving buses, hassles like traffic congestion and cars overloaded with students were frequent.

To makes things easier and safeguard the travel safety of students, the new buses have provided services for students living in Wudang's eight counties and townships, as well as in the downtown Xintian area.
