The Wudang district of Guiyang -- capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- received 206,400 tourist visits during the recent Qingming Festival, according to the district's culture, sports, radio, television and tourism bureau.

During the three-day holiday on April 3-5, tourism revenue generated in the district hit 930 million yuan ($139.53 million).

A series of culture and tourism activities were held during the break to lure tourists, which included the launch of three travel routes.

The Wanxiang Spring Water and Guiyu Spring Water spa venues in the district also launched preferential tickets.

Meanwhile, Wudang's Pianpo township held popular activities including outdoor barbecues, campfires and fashion markets.

In addition, the district's culture, sports, radio, television and tourism bureau carried out inspections of accommodation and tourism and cultural venues to ensure safety and the strict implementation of COVID-19 prevention and control measures.

The tourism market during the holiday was reportedly in good order, with no tourist delays or complaints.
