17 investment projects break ground in Wudang

A groundbreaking ceremony was held on Feb 25 for a number of key projects in the Wudang district of Guiyang – capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – that are due to start construction in February.

The 17 projects have received a combined 6.68 billion yuan ($1.02 billion) in investment.

Of the projects, seven are new-type industrial projects that have received 5.03 billion yuan in total investment.

Meanwhile, 12 projects have received more than 100 million yuan in investment.

It has been revealed that another 16 projects will break ground in Wudang in March, bringing the total number of projects starting construction in the district in the first quarter of this year to 33. These projects are expected to receive 11.59 billion yuan in investment.
