The Wudang district of Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, reportedly distributed a total of 2.64 million yuan ($396,099) in subsidies to people with disabilities in 2021.
Of that, 1.58 million yuan was in the form of living allowances for disabled persons with difficulties, benefiting 8,835 people.
Meanwhile, 1.05 million yuan was distributed as nursing subsidies for severely disabled persons, benefiting 18,140 people identified with first and second-level severe disabilities.
