Wudang district People's Congress wraps up

The first session of the 18th People's Congress of the Wudang district of Guiyang – capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province – officially concluded on Jan 10.

Some 175 deputies were scheduled to be at the congress, but in the event only 164 deputies were present – enough, however, to ensure a quorum to pass decisions.

The meeting passed various resolutions on the first session of the 18th People's Congress of Wudang district. It passed resolutions on the government work report, the implementation of Wudang district's national economic and social development plan in 2021 and the national economic and social development plan in 2022 – as well as on the implementation of the 2021 budget and the resolution of the 2022 budget.

It also passed resolutions on the work reports of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Wudang district, the People's Court of Wudang District and the People's Procuratorate of Wudang District.
