Wudang delegation seeks out business opportunities in Chengdu, Chongqing

New business opportunities were on top of the agenda when a delegation from the Wudang district of Guiyang – capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – made a trip to the southwestern cities of Chengdu and Chongqing on Dec 23-24.

The delegation was led by Ma Dingwu, director of the standing committee of the Wudang district people's congress.

In Chengdu – capital of Southwest China's Sichuan province – the delegation visited Sichuan Chinese Medicine Co and the Chengdu Wenjiang International Medicine City. There, they learned about their enterprise scale, development progress, business models, as well as operations and planning.

At a meeting between the Wudang delegates and the companies, Ma Dingwu briefed them on the economic and social development conditions and investment environment of Wudang – inviting enterprises in Chongqing and Chengdu to inspect and start up businesses in his district.

In recent years, Wudang has reportedly boosted the development of its top-performing industries in medicine production, equipment manufacturing, as well as food processing and production.

Its broad investment prospects, huge development potential and good business environment are said to be playing an essential role in boosting local development.
