The first Global Economic Development and Security Forum of the Boao Forum for Asia, or BFA, was held in Changsha, the capital city of Central China's Hunan province on Oct 18-20.
Wang Xiaoming, Party secretary of Wudang district was invited to attend the opening ceremony of the forum.
The province was themed on food, finance, energy, networks, supply chains, employment and the environment, as well as on smart cities.
During his visit to Changsha, Wang inspected Hunan Kinglory Enterprises Group Co and Changsha Jinmao Properties Co. The first company is a private enterprise based in Hunan, specialized in attracting investment, construction and operation of industrial parks, as well as technological innovation.
In the Kinglory Tongxin International Industrial Park, Wang listened to a presentation on its development history, overall plan, management and industry-city integration.
Executives from Meixihu International New City, a project being undertaken by Jinmao Holdings Group Co – the parent group of the second company he visited – briefed him on the concept and development model.
Wang said Wudang district had an advantageous location, optimized industrial structure, great development potential, strong growth momentum and sound development environment. He invited the companies to do more business with Wudang in industrial park construction, smart manufacturing and industry-city integration.
Wang pledged that the district government would offer enterprises top services to facilitate their investment, entrepreneurship and development in Wudang.
