Livestreaming helps sale of Wudang's agricultural products

The supply and marketing cooperative of Wudang district set up a livestreaming room at the celebration activity of the fourth Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival recently held in Baiyi town in the district.

Wudang district is located in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

During the livestream, participants showcased and explained their products, and the anchor was invited to taste them.

After learning about the production, processing, sale, and price of agricultural products, netizens placed orders under the guidance of the anchor.

During the four-hour livestream, a total of more than 100 orders were received, and more than 10,000 yuan ($1,546.9) in agricultural products were sold.

Since the beginning of this year, the supply and marketing cooperative of Wudang district has conducted in-depth promotion of more agricultural products in Baiyi town through livestreaming and promotional videos.

More than 10,000 orders for golden pears, black feather chickens, various pepper products, and other special agricultural products from Baiyi town have been placed, valued at more than 100,000 yuan, with the help of the supply and marketing cooperative of Wudang district.
