Since novel coronavirus epidemic prevention and control efforts were normalized, Wudang district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has strictly implemented prevention and control strategies, and the overall epidemic prevention and control situation in the district is stable.
Seventeen standardized vaccination sites have been set up in the district, with a daily vaccination capacity of 9,000 people. As of Aug 11, a total of 457,234 doses of the vaccine had been given out in the district.

Wudang District People's Hospital, Wudang Hospital Affiliated to Guizhou University, and Guiqian International General Hospital are currently offering vaccines to people aged 12-17.
The inoculation rate of employees in 11 key industries in district and government offices, enterprises, and public institutions has reached more than 95 percent.
The district has also increased efforts to promote vaccines. It is sending reminders through text, WeChat, or phone to people who have not been vaccinated or who have only received one dose to complete their vaccination course.
In order to improve the service quality of medics, the district has strengthened the training of medical teams, training more than 300 nucleic acid testing teams at various medical institutions, more than 30 medical treatment expert group members, and more than 50 epidemiological investigation team members.
