Wudang, Jiangnan University cooperate in food industry innovative development

The Wudang district government signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Jiangnan University on Aug 3 to cooperate in food industry innovation and development and food talent training.

According to the agreement, Wudang district will introduce high-quality talent and scientific research teams from the School of Food Science and Technology of Jiangnan University, promote school-enterprise cooperation and the integration of government, industry, education and research, accelerate the local commercialization of scientific research results, and continuously improve the innovation and development capabilities and core competitiveness of local food companies.

The two parties will first focus on baked goods to accelerate the cultivation of talent in the local food industry. Jiangnan University will send outstanding graduates and provide technical support to Wudang district and local enterprises.

Meanwhile, Wudang district will help Jiangnan University establish a post-doctoral research station in Guizhou province, and offer provincial and municipal policy support for the workstation.
