118 investment projects start construction in Guizhou

A total of 118 projects in Southwest China's Guizhou province have recently started construction.

Two grand groundbreaking ceremonies for these projects were held on July 26 in Wudang district in Guizhou's capital of Guiyang.

The 118 projects now under construction have received a total of 90.97 billion yuan ($13.65 billion) in investment. This year, 19.6 billion yuan in investment will be in place.

The number of projects each with an investment of more than 100 million yuan was 96, covering Guizhou's nine cities and prefectures and 10 major industrial categories.
