Every summer, many tourists from outside the province come to escape the heat, usually staying from ten days to three months.

Xinbao Bouyei township, Pianpo Bouyei township, and Baiyi town in Wudang are among the most popular sites.

They boast an abundance of natural resources, beautiful pastoral scenery, sites related to the Party's history, and Bouyei culture.

In order to attract more tourists from outside the province, Wudang district has sent representatives to Guangzhou, Xi'an, and other places to promote Wudang's culture and tourism through video displays and internet celebrities.
