Wudang folks make zongzi to welcome Dragon Boat Festival

A zongzi-making event takes place at Xinbao Bouyei township on June 8. Xinbao Bouyei is located in the Wudang district of Guiyang -- capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- and the event was held to welcome the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival, which falls on June 14 this year. During the festival, people often hold dragon boat races and eat zongzi -- or glutinous rice dumplings -- as a snack.
