New high school opens doors in Wudang district

The Guiyang School of the High School Affiliated to Minzu University of China recently opened its doors, according to local media reports.

Located in Luowan village of Dongfeng town in Wudang district, Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, the school covers an area of more than 320,000 square meters and can accommodate around 5,000 students.

Construction of the school started on Dec 16, 2019. The process included the construction of middle and high school teaching buildings (including laboratories), an administrative building, an art building, halls, comprehensive buildings, two canteens, student dormitories, teacher dormitories, auxiliary facilities, air defense basements, stadiums and gymnasiums.
