Wudang district in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, is moving to optimize its local business environment in 2020 for the sustainable and healthy development of private economy, local officials said.

They said the district is placing an emphasis on reforming the government services, to provide businesses with practical tax and fee reduction policies to lower their operating costs.

Meanwhile, a move to innovate government service platforms based on big data is being carried out, to develop the capacity of services and to open up the range of services being offered for new businesses.

Officials said Wudang is pushing to achieve online handling of more than 70 percent of government service operations, to ensure that more than 80 percent of government services are handled by one single service window.

Furthermore, it will strive for 100 percent online coverage of the Guizhou government service network in Wudang district, according to local officials.

Officials added that in order to maintain the legitimate rights and interests of enterprises, Wudang district will keep improving its service awareness and capabilities to offer more efficient and convenient services.
