Procedures for establishing foreign-funded firms in Wudang

To set up a foreign-invested business in Wudang district in Guiyang -- capital city of Southwest China’s Guizhou province -- the investors shall submit to the registration body with the following documents and materials, in accordance with procedures for different foreign-invested enterprises:

■ Documents required for the establishment and registration of Chinese-foreign equity joint ventures

 1. Go to the registration department to apply for and fill in the "Company Establishment Registration Application Form" and "Enterprise (Company) Application Registration Entrustment Form"

 2. Articles of Association

 3. Shareholder's legal person qualification certificate or natural person's identity certificate

 4. Capital verification report

 5. Appointment documents and identification of directors, supervisors and managers

 6. Proof of appointment of chairman or executive director

 7. Proof of residential use

 8. Notice of pre-approval for the name of the Chinese-foreign equity joint enterprise

 9. Other materials required by laws, regulations and rules

■ Documents required for establishment and registration of a Chinese-foreign cooperative joint enterprise

 1. Application report

 2. Feasibility study report

 3. Contracts and articles of association, formally signed by the parties to the joint venture and the list of members of the board of directors of the joint venture

 4. The appointment letters of the board members and their valid identification documents

 5. Notice of pre-approval for the name of Chinese-foreign cooperative joint enterprise

 6. A copy of the valid industrial and commercial registration or business license issued by the host government of the joint venture and a copy of the valid personal ID

 7. Investor’s credit certificate

 8. Proof of residential use

 9. Opinions of relevant competent authorities on site selection, environmental protection, fire protection, etc.

 10. Other materials required by laws, regulations and rules

 ■ Documents required for the establishment and registration of a wholly foreign-owned enterprise

 1. Application report

 2. Feasibility study report

 3. Articles of association of foreign-funded enterprises 

 4. Appointment letter of legal representative or board member and its valid identification document. Appointment letter of members of the board of directors and their valid identification documents

 5. List of members of the board of the foreign-funded enterprise (or list of legal representatives)

 6. A copy of the valid industrial and commercial registration or business license issued by the host government, and a copy of a valid personal ID card

 7. Investor's credit certificate

 8. Written reply from the local people's government (at or above county level) where the foreign-funded enterprise is to be established

 9. Notice of pre-approval for the name of the wholly foreign-owned enterprise

 10. Proof of residential use

 11. Opinions of relevant competent authorities on site selection, environmental protection, fire protection, etc.

 12. Other materials required by laws, regulations and rules.
