They said the district has also done well in extending the platform to towns and villages and possessing a complete group of facilities.
During the examination, the team had a field tour of the Xintian Health Service Center, the People's Hospital of Wudang and the district's big data center -- aiming to inspect Wudang's practices in carrying out Guiyang's regulations on healthcare big data applications.
After the regulations became effective in January, Wudang established a healthcare big data management platform for data collection and healthcare recording. Remote diagnosis and distant medical image consultation have also been put into use in disease treatment.
Primary diagnosis results from all the towns and villages can be uploaded into the district's distant medical image center, providing efficiency and convenience for patients.
The examination team said training sessions should be intensified for medical workers using medical big data equipment, in an effort to provide targeted services for patients.
The team also recommended that better services were required through data collection, selection and application.
