Wudang district – a must-visit travel destination for its varieties of fruit

The agricultural science and technology park in Dongfeng town, Wudang district, Guiyang city, has more than 130,000 square meters of strawberry planting areas which produce strawberries from February to May and from October to December, with an annual output of 100,000 kilograms.

Wudang district's Xiaba township is famous for cherries. It plants 3.33 thousand square meters of local cherries and 3.33 thousand square meters of American cherries. The area boasts annual output of 430,000 kilograms of cherries in May when a cherry festival is held.

A Li village in Wudang district has 46.66 million square meters of waxberry planting area with an annual output of 20 million kilograms of waxberries, which are harvested in June and July.

Wudang district's Shuitian town has planted more than 2 million square  meters of plums with an annual output of 3 million kilograms.
